Adaptive Planning Partnership with NetSuite a Continued Success since 2009

We are pleased to participate in SuiteWorld 2011, NetSuite’s inaugural conference being held in San Francisco this week.  During the conference we announced that our two organizations now share over 100 joint customers, which range from venture-backed startups to large corporations, and span multiple industries, including business services, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, nonprofit and education, retail, and software.  NetSuite markets and sells the Adaptive Planning solution and joint integration as NetSuite Financial Planning. These joint clients are taking advantage of the deep and seamless bi-directional integration between the two applications. Featuring a simple, one-time installation process that takes just minutes, the integration allows actual financial data from NetSuite to flow into Adaptive Planning for use in planning, reporting, and analysis, and budget and forecast data to be transferred from Adaptive Planning back into NetSuite for additional reporting and analysis. Additionally, users can drill-through from Adaptive Planning directly into the underlying transactions within NetSuite.

Alongside the exceptional customer traction, Adaptive Planning’s Spring 2011 Release continues to deepen the integration between the two applications, which introduced configurable user interface “skins” that allow customers to deploy Adaptive Planning with a NetSuite skin, so users of both applications experience a consistent NetSuite look and feel. The release also further extended the existing integration by enabling users to integrate Adaptive Planning with NetSuite sandbox instances. And, Adaptive Planning introduced the Hosted Connector, a web-based integration platform that allows companies to integrate with other NetSuite applications, such as NetSuite OpenAir and NetSuite CRM.

Establishing a ‘single version of the truth’ – with tight integration between actual and plan data — is a key best practice for delivering world-class financial management.  As such, we’re delighted with the tremendous interest in the joint offering to-date.  We look forward to continuing to extend the capabilities of the joint solution going forward, and to helping more NetSuite customers move beyond spreadsheet-based budgeting and forecasting to an integrated, automated, cloud-based solution for planning, execution, reporting, and analysis.
