Industry Report: Adaptive Planning Ranks #1 in Usability among all CPM Vendors

Nuclues_Research_Blog_Photo_12JUNE2013Kanye West claims to be the Nucleus of pop culture, but Adaptive Planning has proven to be the nucleus of the corporate finance. The proof?

Today Adaptive Planning received more industry-wide recognition today as Nucleus Research ranked Adaptive #1 in usability among all CPM vendors, cloud-based and on-premise. Adaptive is also the only fully cloud-based CPM provider in the Leaders Quadrant of Nucleus’ CPM Value Matrix for 2013.

The Leaders Quadrant uniquely recognizes companies that offer both great functionality and superior usability. The full report includes the detailed findings. Below is an excerpt:

“Adaptive Planning has quickly developed a broad set of capabilities and shown the ability to scale CPM deployments to thousands of users without direct IT involvement by taking advantage of its cloud infrastructure…Adaptive Planning already provides a strong CPM offering for companies of all sizes that are willing to look at a cloud-based solution.”

The Nucleus report also recognized Adaptive’s fully-featured demo offering as a “key differentiator during the sales process” compared to other enterprise CPM vendors. And in a phone conversation earlier this week, Hyoun Park, Nucleus analyst and author of the report, said, “Breadth and repeatability are the two areas we [Nucleus] think Adaptive Planning provides the greatest amount of value.”
The stamp of approval from Nucleus comes less than a month after Accelerate 2013, where our CEO John Herr announced a new, $45 million in funding to be used primarily for new product development, and for usability and functionality enhancements. So stay tuned for more product updates in the near future.
