To support the recent launch of our UK and Ireland operation, we were delighted that three of our local customers – Alternative Futures Group, Working Links and Regent’s College London – worked with us to produce press releases detailing their current Adaptive Planning project success.
Alternative Futures Group – a leading charity in the North-West of England that provides support to adults with learning disabilities or mental health needs – has already won awards for its best practice use of Adaptive Planning to optimise its financial budgeting, planning and reporting. Now the charity is using our cloud-based solution to streamline its carbon reporting requirements.
“This latest project demonstrates the flexibility of Adaptive Planning and illustrates our commitment to extending its reporting capabilities to other areas of our operation,” said Alternative Futures Group’s Head of Finance, David Smith.
Regent’s College London – one of the UK’s most respected private colleges – recently went live with Adaptive Planning in just seven weeks – despite the complexity of a large number of budget holders and over 100 different nominal codes. According to Carl Teigh, Chief Financial Officer at the college: “we found that using Excel made it difficult to gain the insight we needed to improve our financial planning, and knew we needed a new budgeting approach. After considering more expensive and over-specified enterprise software offerings, we opted for a cloud-based CPM solution from Adaptive Planning.”
Working Links is a leading delivery specialist focused on enabling the UK Government’s Work Programme. The company is using an Adaptive Planning cloud-based budgeting, planning and forecasting solution to deliver its complex budget in a fraction of the time taken by its previous Cognos TM1 system.
“We were determined to have a new CPM solution in place in time to deliver our next annual budget, however we only had a limited window to source and implement such a solution,” commented Rebecca Phillips, Systems Accountant at Working Links. “Adaptive Planning’s speed of deployment and ease-of-use were key factors in our decision to go with its cloud-based budgeting, forecasting and planning solution.” The result was that Working Links was able to go live in less than two months.
